Welcome! This site is the photoblog of Philip Newcomer.
Right now, my photography is just a hobby, but as I gain experience I might want to start doing some paid work.
I don’t really have a lot of free time to put into photography with my busy schedule, but I enjoy taking photos of flowers, scenery, birds, and the rest of God’s beautiful creation whenever I can.
I see incredible beauty in nature. For me, photography is about capturing and sharing this beauty, and bringing honor and glory to our awesome God.
I very firmly believe that there is a God, and that He created us, the universe, and the beauty that we see. This world is far too complex and orderly to have “just happened” or to have evolved from some primordial slime. It seems quite obvious to me that there had to have been an Intelligent Designer. Furthermore, I know that God exists because I have a personal relationship with Him. If you want to know more about what I’m talking about, please get in contact with me!
I live in southern Maine, USA. The photos you see here were mostly shot around home, but I enjoy hiking and camping so I occasionally share photos from those trips.
