  1. Hi Philip,

Thank you for the plug-in. It’s needed… at least I need it. I am transferring an old static-template-based website onto a wordpress platform and I have a guide that’s created with image maps. I was looking for something that I can use to achieve a similar effect in wordpress.. The only thing is.. I can’t figure out how to use it. Don’t see a guide anywhere. Is there a guide on your website somewhere?

It’s probably something very obvious. I will continue digging and I will probably find it, but just in case I wanted to comment on it and let you know what issue I’m facing.

    Thanks again,

    • Hi Ivan, there’s nothing extra you need to do to make your image maps responsive. The plugin includes CSS which will make the image map responsive, and javascript that will make the clickable elements of the image map responsive as well. Just create your image map normally, activate the plugin, and if everything works as it is supposed to, your image map should be responsive. Note that you still need to use the normal “width=x height=x” attributes in your image map, because the javascript needs them to calculate the relative size of the clickable items.
